How do you fix it #2?

The last one seemed reasonably successful. This time I will add in any suggestions to the top of this thread rather than simply making people/lala read through the entire thread.

The current issue: Zeros
How would you buff this character into tier 1-2 without making it overpowered?

How about giving him splash damage

to the guy above -__________-

as for a terrible level 1-2 i think thats kinda part of his trait XD, heck semikim said he wasnt even gonna bother buffing the earlygame

tho i would like to see a different ulti to warlock, cos there is essentially no good use of it, if u were goin in a game planning to use it u might as well go bh/gh and if u got forced to use it chances are u gonna lose anyway cos ur up against another melee and their comboes are all more fluid than urs unless u got the first hit

anway, warlock is one of my favorite ultis in the game T_T

warlock is fun but tbh its basically just finalstrike with a set distance and a wierd follow up combo (well not that wierd but its not 100% intuitive to use zcx/xcz instead of cxz) and the whole lot does less than final combo, would like it to be a more interesting attack than just another generic high damage blinkstrike

wtf u dont know how to ws zeros. it IS fcxz (same as my blade combo).

the full combo in mid/late game is g -> cz cxz fcx (against a kiting caster)
against melee just use all ur skills nonstop

Warlord has its own advantages compared to Final Blow. Longer reach, overlapping damage, higher burst, etc.
The thing about Zeros atm is lvl1-2. You can't survive this early game at all if opponent knows how to vs 0s.
The only part that Zeros needs buff if any is normal attack damage imo.

Semikim won't buff early game. What you could do instead, is buff Warlord Strikes damage to make it worth it and make DTS slightly faster. This would make Zeros have a better mid-lategame to compensate for his terrible earlygame.

I don't think it's a good idea. WS and DTS are already useful enough. I hope SemiKim takes just one step back.

Personally I would give him a normal attack buff but that will never happen because Semikim specifically said that he won't do it. I'm trying to suggest changes that will actually be implemented.

Well he did say he won't buff early game Zeros but that is the only problematic issue Zeros has atm with balance.

cx has a delay, xc is instant (its similar to ff's cf /fc situation or lur's cx/xc)... this sorta makes a difference if the first thing they do is try to run past u the moment u blinkstrike or if ur going for a clutch kill(the delay is also true for dts cf /fc)... basically c has a stupid delay after the move

EDIT: making the x a little more consistent in where the hell it hits could be handy

anway, back to the point: maybe im the only person who remembers this history, but back in the earliest days, during leauge 1 + 2 korean tourneys,
every match had a zeros + lur who dominated. they were teh strongest heros by SO FAR. lur had insane hook combo (1 sec cd on both c and x).
zeros... well, zeros was the exact same as now except only two things!
1. 10 sec cooldown on dts -> 13 (bad, but not really that big a deal)
2. 1 stat point in attack (lvl 4 attack, not 3) so he had like +3 damage on autoattack.
as far as i can remember, those are the only 2 changes stopping him from being the best char.

so, be careful about what you wish for.

I used to main Zeros so I'm slightly biased on this issue. But he has less health than most/all the other melees so even if his AA was comparable to say BH or Lur he still would be weaker since he has less starting hp.

yea but the issue is he carries much ebtter and tanks range much better in mid-late

and @pac: fc for ff is a mid-late otherwise the pot regen gimps u

Normal attack was 25. Charge was available from lvl0. Zeros had 4 magic stats.

Just make normal attack 25 and it will make Zeros good.

change warlord for a mode

@ sadface: no, i checked several times. xcf if shift queued comes out instantly (even with 3 attack points, instantly kills a tank )
xfc on the other hand, shift queued takes half a second to cast

(btw, i bought 5 mana packs so i had 900+ mana. regen was not an issue here. xcf is simply superior... NEVER DOUBT NENDD'S COMBOS AGAIN )

but my point for zeros is still valid with fc/xc if u want all the purple to hit at once
