=4 mana level 4 hook
shop: pot first
=3 mana level 3 hook + circle upgrade
shop: first 700 card + pot
=2 mana level 4 hook
shop: 850 gas manapack + pot
=5 mana level 3 hook (if u really want)

An additional note or two on the lvl 3 hook. (only one I use)
How to use it best: Charge up to the person(Dont use hook yet) and c skill him. Use pot. then x skill him. when he tries to run, hook him, then c skill him again, and if hes not dead by now, x him once more.
Also, this can be done with mode, if your in a situation where you need it. only difference is allow him to freeze then c skill again, with mode on.

agreed. c then hook sounds good in principle, but you risk being outbursted, dodged, stunned... w/e.
c first offers no advantage except you get c xcxc, but, if xcxc isn't enough to kill someone, they're probably so far ahead you don't wanna hook them anyway. f first gives the advantage of suprise and makes your combo twice as fast (burst = damage/time, so smaller time -> higher burst).

also charge cancelled hook is muuuch harder to blink dodge/gimp(e.g. running past a tree and putting the tree between u and the hook)
and always hook first otherwise ur probably gonna be outbursted and fxc has a stun anyway and a 10% bonus so its not like theyr ever gonna get away(and tbh theyr not gonna live through it anyway if u hit it right until mid-late)

on that note if u really wanna learn sommin hard, learn to charge hit ur z melee without slowing down/stopping the charge (it is possible but fuckin hard to do right i can only do it on the first hit of a charge) kinda useful if u wanna charge through creep to a hero but hit the creep on the way to the hero

not too hard, but requires some speed upgrades. but absolutely no point seeing that it alerts enemy and has possibility of messing up.

well if ur charge cancelling away through some crates, u might as well 1 hit them through the charge... and half the time u charge through creep to get a hero anyway

is hook kinda buggy ?? when i played CT before 4 month it dragged the enemy instantly and now it makes nothing o.0
