Bye Bye Noobxander

I'm not the only person that can organize inhouse games, and really the maximum I've ever seen in NA is 2 inhouse games at the same time. That has been like maybe twice or three times total in the time since the big players left (idra, etc.). It will still be the same people minus one person.

NA will always be that way and I don't mean to be a downer but I don't see it ever getting to the point where there will be more than 2 inhouse games happening simultaneously. Most people (even inhouse players) care more about pubbing and won't leave a game if they're in it or would rather pub. Your best bet is to have regular tournaments and that way you can encourage newer players to form teams and maybe eventually you can have a beginner's league and an advanced league, but even that is setting high hopes.

After the last few games I played I realized that this monotony was just not going to change. In a recent example, Macanas and myself on the same team was imbalanced because there simply weren't enough very good players like pacman and yourself on regularly. Yet, if I put Mac on a different team and he goes Hades then that is also unfair as nobody (except if I play a certain hero) can really shut him down and then the end result is boring again.

So I got sick of that, but there are other people to choose from and make inhouse games. I think if it were like in Korea with leagues and organized teams and stuff, I would be very motivated to play on a more structured, professional level and that would be pretty fun with the community and all but at this point I hate to say it but CT has gotten pretty stagnant for me and it's nobody's fault - that's just how the game evolved and with all the slow changes from IUPrime I think it lost momentum with the general public.

anyway, idk what ct is gonna be like. not looking forward to coming back if i do... so much emptiness.

PS: Macanas is very good with Hades, the best in NA for sure. However, there are some features to the hero that are imbalanced. I don't want this to turn into a discussion about Hades, but:

1. The pylon does too much damage and allows Hades to have the fastest tier 1 pushing than any other hero without using any pots. In most in-house games this allows Hades to always be the first to get 3-4 levels jump and then provide mega pvp-support to their team. If you are on the opposite team, generally most heroes will lose their lane to Hades and if another lane in your team is lost by the time the bunker is down for you then the game is likely GG.

2. Likewise in PvP, the pylon can be used to control space too well as it does very much damage in a short amount of exposure to the rays. In a test with only 2 points in attack, the pylon did roughly 300 damage in the span of 2 seconds of exposure in PvP and about 1000 damage to the turrets in its full life time.

3. The autoattack gives Hades a very, very strong harass in the beginning. Initially Samarion was a counter in my tests with Macanas, but when he went more aggro and stayed with his laser on, Samarion lost the lane pretty easily because the early game momentum got shut down. If you do the math, in the beginning Hades' autoattack actually does about 40 damage per 1 second (with the stim) meaning it's Blade Hunter damage with .2 seconds faster and ranged. Given the strong farming ability on the next 2 levels, then I think this level of harass power is too strong and should be doing less damage (i.e. the actual listed amount).

Again, that doesn't mean I stopped playing because of Hades, but just responding to a previous point.

I remember my first game back in January of February and I picked Duran because he had "5 power" so I was like hellllz yeah. Some dude with lur owned my ass and I thought hook was so OP. That was when you could select warrior or mage hero - ahhhh the good old days.

Dude, if I had gone 5 mana and with some more practice I think we could be even ;D. Besides, you know who your daddy is if Zeros gets to late game

I don't remember that game...but I'm sure it happened. I told Macanas so many times that I wish iDra, Sareve, Kaz, hiphop, etc still played so that I could see how we do. I was so noob when they were around and now they are gone.

I agree with you about CT. It's sad because it really is a very balanced, great team game and has so much potential - but people don't get it here and the community will never get big. Maybe if they link EU and NA, but I doubt it. Just sad.

Just need more practice. You played more positionally with Hades than I did in that counter game, so I got raped. But you beat Artemis' blade hunter and lur, which is probably the best around so I think it is more hades
