EU vs. NA Showmatch

Alright, now I've heard lots of people comparing EU people to NA people. Yet no one really knows who is better than the other. Many would say that it's NA because of people who used to play this game. Since they've essentially stopped I think we need to have a reevaluation.

We should have the winners of EU's latest tourney vs. the winners of NA's latest tourney in a showmatch. Whoever ended the game faster will get homefield advantage, aka the x team won in 30min. so they get the first game in their server. Then it switches to y team's server. Back and forth in a Best of Five I'd say and that will determine which server currently has the best players on it. Also if the Eu champion team wants to play the Korean team that wanted to do our NA tourney but instead they're a bonus match they should get the chance to play them as well. I'd like feedback on this and if we were to get this going we would need 3 people on each server willing to loan their accounts to allow each team to play with equal amounts of lag.

This sounds fun. And winner of EU tournament already has NA accs.

Not sure why I posted the "Cyclo should stop making polls thing" it distracts from the actual vote, from now on people if you would please change your votes to Yes or No. I probably should stop posting polls but they're the easiest way to gather public opinion.

Note you can vote twice so everyone should vote for the "Cyclo should stop making polls" and instead vote yes or no. But so far I can say that this idea is a win. So now I have I want to guarantee, what NA accounts are available for use and what EU accounts are available for use. We need 3 each, we also will need someone to stream this and SungJ could you possibly get Frodan to cast the showmatch? Also should we wait until this next BOA before having this showmatch between EU Vs. NA? I think EU might be having another tourney soon so should we wait for that?

I'll need character codes and will NA/EU people need the other people's version so Starcraft?
My teammates both have Korean accounts and they had to spend 12hours or so downloading a Korean client of SC2. Is this the same for EU/NA?

I think LALA had to download EU client to update the map, so I would guess so.

you need to download eu / na client . you can download them on battle.net . For me it was 5h + install. also maybe you could use lalas eu acc iuprime too.

Well thanks to SadFace, but my problem is I use PC Cafe in Orange County to play CT not my home computer,
so I don't know how to solve the EU client problem since those computers are not mine.
As soon as I get that and time issue solved I will visit EU definitely.
Could anyone tell me around what time EU IHs are active?
I only can stably come online around 7pm tues/wed/thurs pacific time zone so please let me know of time issues.

EU IH are active around 6 pm - 2 am CEST (i think time difference between PST and CEST are 9 hours).

so... the patch was released and my na client automatically dl'ed it.
when i opened my eu, it opened without dl, then when i logged in, an error said "the game will close and install patch"
so i hit ok.


nothing happened. is there any way to open the patch updater/ manually install patches? cuz i can't play on eu until i get that fixed...

did they beat you so hard with t1 heroes? Also what i saw till now its same in na.

????

i know the patch is the same in na, but the multiple installs on one comp is giving me trouble T_T
