CTCL EU - Season 1

I here announce the City of Tempest Clan League EU for December.

There is the normal Class A league, on inhouse level. In the future there will also be the Class B league for lower inhouse level. Every Clan should have 2 Teams with 4 Players each how you split your players is your desicion.

Every Team has to play 3 Games against every other team (other team from same clan also!), no fixed date, winner tells me results, if there are any doubts post a replay, but it has to be done in the time of the Season. Once every games are played we make a table, the team with most wins... wins (duh!).

After Season 1, the bottom half of this table will be degraded into Class B. And in further Seasons, the Last of Class A gets degraded to Class B, and the Best of Class B gets promoted to Class A.

To further engcourage you to join/form clans, I set the date to 7st - 21th December. (equals an average timespan of 2 weeks per season, with a 1 week break after each. But I might adjust the season time with the experiece gathered from this one)

You have to participate in a clan, you cant just take you EU Tournament team and say "Yo, we're a clan now :>". Optimal would be 2 Teams per clan, but you can also have 1 Team, you clan has to have 5 members minimum.

To prevent any cheating shit, each team has to write "this is a game for the CTCL" once the game starts, which will allow you to play training games vs other teams without any bitch moves or something.

DATE: 9th -23th December (Free Matchdates 9th - 16th; fixed Matchdates 16th - 23th)

Host/Contact: Noonakiin # 669 (EU)

Rules:
- One player of each team has to write "CTCL Game" once the game starts.

- Matches are hold in a Best of 3

- You are free to set the date yourself until December 14th. Then I will work out fixed dates with the clanleaders.

- If you dont shop up, we will make a second date. If you dont show up twice, or have no excuse for not showing up in the first place, you loose the game by default.

- The Banpick Rule is NOT implemented yet, until the poll reaches 2/3 until December 6th.

- 1 Person has to upload the replay

- NA Server is allowed to participate!

is this the merged league with the NA thing?

no, this is EU only atm, most likely to encourage more guys to join clans, because i think some ppl are not taking this srsly. Once we have stable clans to have thease seasons more regular, we can think about interserver leagues.

uhh cos with this format we only hav a max of 3 clans in eu so numbers wise this is gonna be shit

~ 6 teams. That truly is a bit lousy, but not so few. And if lala could maybe post something it in the help thingy we might get some pubstars to unite if you really want to stock up the numbers.

Im kinda waiting also, its in ~ 1 month, its just announced because I dont see many ppl rushing with this whole clan thing. Some motivation cant be bad^^

So are teams within clans fixed?

You can decide that on your own, but I think, to avoid confusion the teams should be fixed during league

The whole classification thingy demands that teams at fixed? Or how is that supposed to work? And is it even viable to say that clans need a minimum of 8 players?

I said a minimum of 5 members, because I think we want to grow the community and not just handle a clan league like a tournament (only to prevent teams of 3 players predending to be a clan to join the league).

You dont have to say "this is our team1 with #1,#2, #3 and #4." and you will never be able to switch, you can train which combination of players leads to best results, but you have to announce the fixed teams before the league starts. I know what you mean, but I think the first leagues we can allow clans to switch players between teams, as long as team 1 isnt identical to team 2 ^_^

Well, 2 Teams with 4 players each is what you should aim for, but I think most players are not really in that clan stuff yet, so for participating i think 5 players are enough.

And you lied! You would be able to call Dovahkiin a dragon-gay if you watched the trailer

All i know is that we have Noonahkiin and me for now...maybe try takin a noob or 2 with us i'm tryin to recruit pubstars around 3-4 am but it's kinda hard since they dont play durin the day so not really interested >.<
