I, am officially creating ct clan: 无双(unparalleled)

i am doing this in response to the dying ct community in an attempt to revitalize it.
if you want to join, leave a message or pm me and I will test you

my hope is that this will:
- stimulate other people into forming clans
- provide easier access to inhouse (just call your clan mates)
- make forming teams more realistic for tournaments (if everyone ends up bailing at the last second, as usual, you have clan mates to fall back on)
- make ct more competitive and intense in general
-offer a chance for a different tournament format: clan leagues

lol I'd do it although it depends bro on how long often the games are. Yes it would make it easier if they're was a CT clan league but what's the point? Isn't the same thing as being in teh CT channel as being a clan member. If we made it more you practice with your team and share phone numbers and such so you play lots of inhouses as a team then it's easeir to get a team of 3 then to get 3 seperate players into 1game. So if people kept they're teams when the tourney isn't a week away then it could be easeir to inhouse. Example:
SungJ: Hey Cyclo does your team want to play inhouse.
Cyclo: Hold on a second.
SungJ: k.
Cyclo: yeah we'll play invite.
SungJ: k

Game started between SungJ, Pacman, Barsark vs. others but the point is even on a specific date where people WANT to be there(aka tourney) with their team sometiems they can't make it. So it pretty much depends on why it's hard to get inhouses, currently because lots of people pubstomp if people would just leave they're pubstomp games getting inhouse games together would be easy we have 6+ people in the channel all the time. I say get rid of quits damaging yoru score and people would leave games more often. Or convince someone like Frodan to cast CT games for example the best inhouse game would get casted. So people would leave their games more to be casted instead of just going why play inhouse when I can own a pub game. You need to make more of a reward to playing inhouse games then people would leave htey're pub games. Then it's easy to make inhouses.

cyclo- the point is exactly so we don't encounter what you said. if i have 8 clan members, chances are that three or more will be on, so i say in channel: clan noobfags would you like to play? then you answer: yes.
then i pick 2 people to bring with me, you pick 2, and we have an inhouse.

the whole point is to have a team of more than 3 so you can have several people you often work with.

and no, i don't automatically accept people, request to join and i will test you.

Well seeing as the people that are outright better than me (and still play semi frequently) are already in the clan, I guess I'd be interested.

But no i don't think i quite like the idea of clans, seems a bit like a rut. if Pacnoob, SungK, and Artemis/Barsark are on a team, then i dont know how anyone could win, save the cream of the crop (which isn't good for NA).

If everyone is in a clan, ill make a clan, with 1 person, called 바람의 죽음. Only people with names related to Weather climates can join and i shall be the mastar

but that was the whole point of making a clan:

if i have 8 people, not all of them are "the cream of the crop" (take alex for example. he doesn't even play )

so, if i make a team of 4 random members from the 8, the skill would be more diluted.

Think we can even get 3 clans? well okay then I'm having a clan of six ask to join and if you ever stole my creep then it's an auto no.

btw people who want to try out: im not judging solely on skill, its more about your attitude towards getting better. i promise that whoever joins will be ten times the player they were before: clans practice together and help each other.

the people i want to see trying out are people like prometheus, abart, aloera, and other people who are always having good attitude, already decent, and want to improve (except abart. i just want him so we can troll with his dk).

Im just putting this out there, Skillz and I are never going to be on a team. He is a KS'ing 11 year old that has no talent and should be lynched as soon as possible. Almost as bad as Pseudoku

Ok So my 2cents worth i think that if you want to start clans and make it more fun and attractive for others to join this new idea you should take the best of the best and split them up. Let’s say there are 6 really good players (better than the rest ) they should each start a clan and be like teachers thus creating 6clans that is average and with the teachings of their master you can see who is the best clan. I personally think that having one good clan will discourage a lot of players to even consider this but that is just me maybe this is the best idea and I’m just a noob

well the idea is not to take all the good players into one clan. im not actively trying to recruit barsark, pseudoku, macanas, normalcoffee, and other people. im just taking one or two friends and the rest i haven't decided yet. but im definitely not trying to fill my team with only "the cream of the crop"

no worries.


Chris: no not really. if you join, there is almost no obligation, but you really shouldn't quit unless you are quitting ct or unless the clan decides to ban you

How are you going to test/decide who to bring in when you are absent in NA?

i will be back in a week or so.
plus, i want to give everyone time to learn about this clan and apply:
there are only 8 spots, and if i start testing and accepting people now,
it means that people can't join later.


btw only eight spots now because the NA scene is so small that 8 people is like half of it.
but hopefully in future, when NA hopefully expands, there will be more spots open
